We’ve set out on a quite unique adventure. No backpacking, no hiking, but still a pilgrimage, a pilgrimage of trust.

We’re in Canada visiting family – my wife’s cousin, who welcomed us in the warmest way possible – and we’re meeting more cousins we’ve never met before.

I’ve never experienced how quickly a stranger can feel so close. So there’s so much for us to enjoy over here – pure sunshine in the sky, heartwarming moments to share and some Canadian highlights we definitely shouldn’t miss.

I am extremely happy I found some moments to just be with my camera and capture the beauty of these days.

Lake Ontario at Burlington Beach

We went to visited Niagara Falls and saw how the astonishing force of nature unfolds right in front of our eyes. I remember a friend saying: when she saw the Falls, she understood what eternity is. I contemplate that sentence while I’m standing there and try to capture eternity with my camera.
